Design Brief
In my hometown, Kochi, the waste collection system of the corporation has several limitations. This inspired me to redesign the waste collection trolley within budget, making it more practical and efficient by incorporating necessary improvements. I believe that by implementing these changes, the entire waste collection process can be made easier and more effective.
Problems Noted
No proper cabin for waste disposal
Removing waste from the trolley is difficult
Collecting waste from narrow lanes is hard because the trolley cannot be transported

This project taught me to design around real constraints rather than ideal conditions. By focusing on accessibility, modularity, and ease of handling, I learned how small structural changes can make an everyday product more practical.
